What's up Crafters? I just wanted to record a quick video going over some of the KEY parts of the Best Practice-first version of DDDForum that I'm going to teach you how to implement in the upcoming BP module.

The work we have to do here is broken into 4 key parts:

matters most here, why, and then you can focus on the How - the implementation. I'll demonstrate all of this in the upcoming vids.

Some of my favourite things you'll learn

If you're a frontend developer, I think you'll really appreciate the parts on:

• Using Page Objects to test your features

If you learn more backend or full-stack, I think the scripting bits are pretty key. You'll probably enjoy that we'll get into:

• How to share abstractions (DTOs, builders, etc) between frontend and backend
• How to design constraints and hints into your script to reduce mistakes
• How to automate as much as you possibly can
• How to build a minimal deployment pipeline using GitHub actions
