// Check out the code for DDDForum (Best Practice-First modules coming soon) //

What's up Crafters? I just wanted to record a quick video going over some of the KEY parts of the Best Practice-first version of DDDForum that I'm going to teach you how to implement in the upcoming BP module.

https://www.loom.com/share/6b349c2625404e51bdf4294f2bbee390

The work we have to do here is broken into 4 key parts:

1 | Automated Backend E2E tests 2 | Test a Walking Skeleton (E2e UI to Backend Test Infrastructure) 3 | Deploying the Skeleton to a Minimal Deployment Pipeline (w/ GitHub Actions, Render & Netlify) 4 | Development Environment Refinements (for greater Discoverability & Understanding)

There are still a few refinements I need to make on this before I can jump back into recording, but I wanted you to be able to start taking a look at the code ASAP.

Here's the repo:

Topics

We cover a lot of really key topics here. Don't get overwhelmed. You just need to see it to believe it. You need to see it done in front of you. This will give you clarity on

What

matters most here, why, and then you can focus on the How - the implementation. I'll demonstrate all of this in the upcoming vids.

Some of my favourite things you'll learn

If you're a frontend developer, I think you'll really appreciate the parts on:

If you learn more backend or full-stack, I think the scripting bits are pretty key. You'll probably enjoy that we'll get into:

So go take a look around and let me know what questions or comments you have while I finish things up here.

As always, To Mastery
